چکیده
pulse trains deinterleaving is one of the most important tasks in es systems. in this field, fast separation and having ability to detect various types of pri is critical. in this article, a new fft-based method is proposed to deinterleave radar pulse trains. the main advantage of the proposed method compared to the previous ones is its lower computational complexity and also having less probability of false detection campare to similar methods(spectrum estimation). the performance of the proposed method is evaluated against different type of radars having various type of pris in simulation envirment.

Deinterleaving Radar Pulse Trains Using Neural Networks
All known time of arrival (TOA) deinterleaving algorithms have great diiculty separating interleaved radar pulse trains when two or more of the trains are significantly jittered. Such scenarios tend to lead to overwhelming ambiguity and fragmentation diiculties when using traditional techniques. In this report we propose a modiied sequence search technique combined with a novel recursive neural...
متن کاملSpectrum estimation of interleaved pulse trains
In this paper, we consider signals consisting of a finite though unknown number of periodic time-interleaved pulse trains. For such signals, we present a novel approach for determining both the number of pulse trains present and the frequency of each pulse train. Our approach requires only the time of arrival data of each pulse. It is robust to noisy time of arrival data and missing pulses and,...
متن کاملHandling Side-Information for Data Compression of Radar Pulse Trains
Previously a method has been proposed for a high-performance compression method designed expressly for compressing intercepted radar pulse trains for the purpose of locating the transmitter. The method relies on gating pulses, putting them into a pulse matrix and then using the singular value decomposition (SVD) to compress the signal data. The pulse gating step, however, generated a sequence o...
متن کاملPerformance Analysis of Radar Target Recognition Using Natural Frequency: Frequency Domain Approach
We consider the performance analysis of natural frequency-based radar target recognition in the frequency domain. Based on the probability density function (PDF) of some quantity consisting of the projections of the frequency response onto the column spaces of the matrices constructed using the natural frequencies of the specific targets, we propose to analytically calculate the probability of ...
متن کاملClassifying Pulse Compression Radar Waveforms Using Time-Frequency Distributions
In this paper the classification of pulse compression radar waveforms using features extracted from the Choi-Williams time-frequency distribution is studied. In addition, a feature based on the symmetry properties of polyphase waveforms is introduced. The pulse compression waveforms examined are the Frank, P1, P2, P3, and P4 codes. The discrimination capability of the features is evaluated usin...
متن کاملFemtosecond synchronization of radio frequency signals with optical pulse trains.
A synchronization scheme for extraction of low-jitter rf signals from optical pulse trains, which is robust against photodetector nonlinearities, is described. The scheme is based on a transfer of timing information into an intensity imbalance of the two output beams from a Sagnac loop. Sub-100-fs timing jitter between the extracted 2-GHz rf signal and the 100-MHz optical pulse train from a mod...
